AVIO
Avio's goal is to make wine in the traditional Italian
style. Their varietals are smooth, well balanced,
and complement any dish - 'The true essence of wine,'
remembered Lisa who grew up in Avio, Italy where
wine was enjoyed with friends and family, and was a true
source of pride and tradition throughout the Ottaviani

CONVERGENCE
In the spring of 2000 Steve &Jamie'ssearch lead them
to the historic Amador County. "The area reminded
us of what Napa Valley was like 30 years ago. We came upon
the most beautiful stretch of105 acres of rolling hilltops,
sun slopped fields and three creeks all racing to the same
destination. It was a convergence of sun, land and water.
Within 2 hours not only had we decide to purchase the property,
we knew where we would build our home, construct a winery,
and where the first vineyards blocks would be planted.
Everything was falling into place".

DAMAS VINEYARDS
Damas' hand-tended vines are spoiled rotten. They
live in the most beautiful setting on earth, planted in
deep soil made from decomposed granite, on a sunny slope
overlooking the historic Eschen vineyard.
DAMAS means "ladies" in Spanish, but it is also an acronym
made up of the initials of the vineyard founders--Deborah
and Mara and their dog, Scooter. Sadly, Scooter's last
harvest was in 2001.

LANG
Lang Wines Zinfandel is made from personally selected
smaller Sierra Foothill vineyards in California’s Shenandoah
Valley. California’s oldest Zinfandel vines are grown here
in these picturesque gold-country valleys. Known for its
deep, granite-based soils, these Amador vineyards lie at
elevations between 1200 and 1800 feet and produce the robust
and spicy Zinfandels whose characteristics define this
unique California varietal.
